Tony began his musical journey as a Co Founder and Lead Singer of the well known band 7th heaven for over 17 years. In that time he has written over 500 songs with Song-writing partner Richard Hofherr of 7th heaven and continues to do so. He helped make famous "30 songs in 30 minutes" which has since been tweaked a bit. Back in the day it was known as Medleys 1,2,3,4. His writing has been heard on MTV, VHI, Discovery Channel,Q101, Mancow's Morning Madhouse and The Jenny Jones show. He has toured The US supporting 2 full length records and enjoys writing music in his spare time. Solo records include "The Fez" www.myspace.com/thefezmusic which is a power pop band he founded with Michael Mooshey. Tony also performed in the tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Music Of The Night" Scoring Lead rolls as Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar",Joseph in "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" and Mr Mistoffelees" In "Cats" His current project Men From Marz is what makes him happy and gets him up on stage doing what he does best..."Entertaining"
Although Matt plays guitar and sings in MFM Matt began his musical journey as a drummer in jazz and marching bands. Playing in bands such as Deprivation Theory and Mach 1 helped refine his skills as a rhythmic junkie. While the drums took him to Iowa to gain a music degree, he began to sing and strum with the group Downtime. Ever since, he has been building a repertoire as a solo acoustic and duo performer which led him to the group Men from Marz. Matt takes on the duties of rhythm guitar and backup/lead vocalist. Matt is the youngest of the bunch but has a voice that will move you.
Bob has been playing bass in the Chicago area for many years with a wide variety of bands from corporate to original & cover bands including everything from rock to jazz, latin to broadway musicals. Little known fact: Bob also played trumpet in many jazz bands in the Chicago area from the Green Mill to the Bop shop. Bob is a perfectionist and spends most of his nights practicing to make him the best he can be at his craft. you may know him as Bob...We Like to call him "Bo-Bay"!!!
Nick is well known for his Run in the Popular band "Joker" playing Lead guitar and backing vocals and has many record releases under his belt. He is an accomplished songwriter with a great sense for writing a good song. He brings experience and the Natural ability to make a difficult song seem easy. His band mates like to think of him as a Guitar God and think you will too. Nick loves running and is a vegan who enjoys his work as a massage therapist specializing in "Body Work". Nick also teaches guitar full time and has a great outlook on life. Sex, Hugs & Rock & Roll. A true and natural Rocker who brings positive energy to nearly every performance.
Drummer Nate has been playing in original and cover bands around the Chicago area for the past 12 years, has played over 100 different venues throughout the Midwest, thinks Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl are uber-cool drummers, wishes there was a Runza or Valentino’s restaurant in Illinois, and spends free time thinking of the Caribbean. Nate is the bands human metronome with a great meter at the same time one of the hardest hitting drummers in town. Nate commands the crowd with his stage presence.....And If you give him center stage with a microphone...."Look Out!"
